If it is just for single gun events then thats fine. Can see it wasting a lot of time for 3 Gun Nation matches where we mostly score with guys standing and shouting out scores or just patching if the target is fine. Do you have to use them in classifiers or can you use the old targets?

I load before if I have time. More time on the stage to help out/RO etc If it is your first one I would definitely get them all loaded up before. Then you can concentrate on what you are doing and other advice you are getting.

I run a 24" as my competition gun (3GN). I very happy with it and all I did was open up the load port and stick a Nordic tube on it. The recoil is between a M2 and a Versamax. I also like the longer fore-end than the M2. I would say get the 24" Running it at our recent nationals...

Use a matchsaver and make sure the only time you run dry is when you have one shot left and can go to the matchsaver. This can be loaded while the gun is still in your shoulder on the target. I will get our resident left handed shotgunner who also runs a versamax to comment on what he does.
