December Match "Wrong Side" Challenge

Most pan cake holsters will work on the "other side" too. Just have to work at threading the belt through a little harder.

Another style holster will work (with a simple belt loop) if you run the belt through the loop and wear it over the holster... that is, holster between the belt and the body

I will allow folks participating in the Wrong Side Challenge" to START with the gun in their "wrong" hand.

I assume "wrong hand" means "one handed" not just shooting left handed freestyle, correct?

As previously stated, I'm thinking 3 stages one hand, one stage "mirror image" using both.

I also had a thought about how it would be neat to do a Second Shoot....strong hand only! It'd be interesting to compare performance.

Well, ain't that a kick in the pants.

I cut a finger on my left hand kinda bad and I might have to shoot this match "Right Side" only.

We'll see how fast it heals.

It sucks, but makes the point: you need to have a viable Plan B ready to go....before you need Plan B.

True sir, very true. You could have two sub categories (strong hand & weak hand) that way you could still be competing on an equal playing field as well as not gaming :93: ah.., as MC stated......... :93: and no I don't want to hold the target while everyone shoots thru lol

If I shoot strong hand only, it'll be heads up against everyone else using two hands.

My overall placement doesn't matter, but the experience does.

Now that is a great way of thinking. I tell folks to shoot for their own reasons and that is why I use compacts and sub compacts from concealment. I also have a better attitude for the match as well.
Lets just hope your cut is well enough not to interfere with your shooting.

Not that anyone cares, but I'm going to shoot this strong side only. I won't have the time to even do dry fire practice weak hand only. As stated, I'll compete against folks using both hands.

Gun choice will be the same, tho, for the same reasons.
