Sold/Expired AR lowers, PSA, $57 delivered Group Buy

I have thought about making an ar pistol for the simple fact it falls under "carry conceal" and i can have loaded mags setting right next to the rifle since mags work with ar pistol.

AR pistol isn't allowed for Concealed Carry. Overall length must be less than 16"

TITLE 21 § 1290.2. Definitions
DEFINITIONS
As used in Sections 1 through 26 of this act:
1. Concealed handgun means a loaded or unloaded pistol carried hidden from the detection and view of another person either upon or about the person, in a purse or other container belonging to the person, or in a vehicle which is operated by the person or in which the person is riding as a passenger; and
2. Pistol means any derringer, revolver or semiautomatic firearm which:
a. has an overall length of less that sixteen (16) inches and is able to be fully concealed from detection and view,
b. is capable of discharging a projectile composed of any material which may reasonably be expected to be able to cause lethal injury,
c. is designed to be held and fired by the use of a single hand, and
d. uses either gunpowder, gas or any means of rocket propulsion to discharge the projectile.
The definition of pistol for purposes of the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act shall not apply to homemade or imitation pistols, flare guns, underwater fishing guns or blank pistols.

Its a Tipton Gun Vise. I bought it on sale at Academy a while back. I think it was around $40.00 It makes alot of things easier. I quit messing with the ARs until I bought these lowers. I would like to get a vice block. It would make the lower go together better.

I sold guns at Academy for a few years and that vice made everything so much easier. Worth the money,
 
I missed this group buy, any chance there will be another on these PSA lowers anytime soon? That's a great buy.
 
Ddoubtful - we have 2 going on right now - it would be really hard to find 30 people any time soon that want lowers again....
 
Picked up my receivers yesterday and they look pretty good!

Also bought a lower parts kit from Steve, as I hope others are doing.

thanks Wall I will have to measure my two ak pistols one is shorter than the other. I always thought they were legal to carry loaded glad you pointed that out before the highway patrol. When I bought the first one the statement was made "yeah you can throw it in a gym bag for carry conceal". I never thought twice about it, the gun has no real purpose other than rack the slide 8-10 times and put back in safe

David thanks for putting together group buy I sure buys can be a pain.
Went to coldhand arms picked up my receivers normally I never think twice about having a carry conceal after seeing the fullauto mp5 on the counter and all the short barreled shotguns not to mention the AR's I felt a tad uncomfortable having my carry gun. I thanked him made my purchases. Now it is decision time...
 
picked up my lowers today, they look good. Picked up an nice looking upper while I was there! Thanks to Steve at Cold Hand Arms and To David for organizing, collecting funds, and seeing it through.
 
Thanks again Steve! I'm sure it took some time to sort all of these lowers and I know it was probably aggravating to log them all. You'll be my #1 source of local parts tho!
 
I only have one regret about the PSA group buy. I wish I would have bought two more. If any of you guys who bought more then one, would like to get rid of one or two, please send me a message. I know we have sevral buys going on right now, but if we decide to do another PSA buy in the future, I would be in for a few. Thanks guys.
 
I went and got mine a couple days ago.
I've never handled a PSA lower before and was kinda leary, but I must say that it's a pretty nicely built piece. The fit and finish is good, the engraving isn't quite as crisp as the 2 Spikes lowers I have, but all in all it's a nice product, I've seen far worse out there for more money. Can't be beat for the price.
