OKC Gun Club Multi-Gun

Now how far are we gonna have to shoot this thing from? I guess its just like any match if I have to I can take a mike?

20 rounds at most and we could fix that - depends on your comfort, trigger pull, breathing and finally if those optics wants to cooperate.

Ok folks. We will be shooting all 3 again. 4 stages with long range out to 300. Start time will be 9:00am. Please help get the word out that we will be starting an hour earlier. Also, there will be prizes at the end of this one and not just for the winners of each division. We are going all out on this one and quite a few folks will take home cash and other other goodies.
Round counts will be close to the same as last time, 75 rifle, 75 shotgun, 75 pistol and this time we will be shooting buck and slugs, so bring 10 of each. As always, we will have a limited amount on hand for sale if you can't find any.

Outeffingstanding! Mr. Pinto, will setup be the Saturday before as usual? If so I'll be there to help out. I will also make it a point to stay after to help with tear down. I had to bail early last time and need to appologize for that. A lot of effort goes into these matches and I love shooting them so getting in on the work side of things seems only fair. Big thanks to everyone who puts in the time to make these events happen!

I couldn't agree with this more.
If you are able to, please help with setup/tear down, especially tear down.

OK.. I know LaRue is the same weekend, but I am still hoping we get a great turnout. I am thinking about setting up shorter stages and having a rimfire division, although you still have to shoot regular shotgun. If we run shorter fields, we can allow folks to shoot in centerfire 3-gun and rimfire 3-gun. This might be a hoot. You would have to shoot rimfire pistol and rifle with shotgun as normal.

Thoughts?

I think this is an excellent idea for beginners but I think the there should be another option for the shotguns in this division because the shotgun tends to be the most specialized of the 3. If you limited rimfire division to a pump or a mag capacity restriction it wouldn't be as intimidating for beginners.

Instead of limiting it, lets just open it. No minimum and all stages will be under 5 rounds per array? Therefore if all you have is that dove gun 20-gauge, you are good to go.. We will shoot the regular match, pull some targets and let the rimfire guys get after it. I think we can make the main match a 2-hour or so event and just plan on starting the rimfire match at 11:00.. Let's do that.. If you want to shoot a 22-rifle but dont have a 22 pistol, fine, shoot your nine or 40 and vice versa on the rifle. Make it an unlimited match where anything goes with a focus on rimfire.
