I'm not sure. Jesus fixed the ear that Peter lopped off the Roman in the garden. I believe fully He understood Peter's actions, and he reminded Peter that His duty was to God's Heavenly plan. Therefore don't try to change the plan. The 10 Commandments say thou shall not Murder. (Not thou shall not kill. The Bible has been changed by man thru the years in my estimation) so if the elephant dung died naturally then so be it. God always has the final say I believe. I like others tend to get confused when bad things happen outside our control ( or our supposed control) Hope I haven't managed to muddy the waters even more. Just my personal thoughts for what that's worth.
