I'm having problems with PSA. I was getting their daily deals for many years, but it stopped. I have notified they of the problem but they have not fixed it yet. You would think that they would want to fix it. I would bet that I have sent them 25+ customers over 10+ years. but not fixed yet.

I did get two EM from PSA this weekend but nothing during the week. I don't understand what is going on with PSA. Very poor, Very poor.

Through all the increases in price for ammo and firearms, firearms gettin a lot closer to normal way faster than ammo, mags didn't seem to get scarce or go up much, my LGS stocked way up, maybe a dollar more than usual but never had a big run on them, I'm talking mostly AR mags, CDNN went up on Glock mags 4-5 bucks or so and would go in and out of stock some, PSA did go up on their aluminum mags, D&H I think is brand, used to sell for 7.99 each, here at their Greenville store they keep several barrels full close to the checkout line, those went up couple dollars or so, I know percentage wise couple bucks on an 8 dollar mag pretty high but never saw them double in price or anything crazy wild, or if they did I didn't notice
 
Forgot to mention that I prefer 5 or 10 rnd. mags for all my Ar's..because I am almost always shooting from a bench.
The 30 rnders are too long, when using a 6"-9" bipod ( have 'em on most my AR's ) 30rnd mags hit the bench, forcing the barrel downward..
unless I pull the rifle back, so the mag is hanging off the bench. This is an awkward position, with the benches my club has attached to the shooting benches.
I was disappointed to learn thet 5, 10, or 20 rnd mags are much more expensive than the 30 rnd. mags.

That's a thought, only firearms I have bipods on are my bolt guns. Don't have an AR with one?! Might need to change that. I probably should pick up a few lower than standard capacity magazines:)
 
As I'm constantly experimenting with different powders, powder weights, bullets , & bullet weights, in my AR's ( actually, all my firearms )
I try to remove as many variables in my shooting as possible, so I can tell any differences in my loads, rather than in my shooting.
My ability to shoot consistently varies with many factors, so I use a bipod on most my rifles while sending bullets downrange.
Easier to see differences in my group sizes when using a rest or bipod..I've got old guy shakes. :(.
 
To reiterate, the video I mentioned at the beginning of this thread will/can open your eyes to qualoty magazines that most dont even know exist. Chris Bartocci is a recognized authority on the AR platform and just about anything to do with one. His video eval is a 4 part deal and he really goes indepth about each brand.

Given the spotty availability we are beginning to see the more options youre aware of the better your chances of finding what is good for your AR.
