I'm very interested, do you happen to know how much he wants for it?
Thanks
Jim Gonzalez
I believe this one is referred to as the Massad Ayoob Special Forces. My friend keeps changing his mind about whether he should keep it or sell it. I've told him to keep it but he doesn't really shoot 1911's so I predict he'll part with it. He paid $2000 for it about six months ago and has said he wouldn't sell it for less. If that interests you I can put you in touch since he's not on this forum. The gun is in NC.

Here are some more pics. I photoshopped out the serial number. That is the only edit to the pics. The blueing is beautiful and the snakeskin front strap and msh are very grippy which I really like, more so than they look. I threatened to buy it myself but I only run 1911's in matches and wouldn't have the heart to shove this pretty thing in and out of a kydex holster a dozen times every Saturday.

Let me just say that this started as just a picture thread, and I am passing on the messages of interest to the pistol owner who is a very good friend of mine, but I can make no assertions as to what he will decide to do. He had not made the absolute decision to sell when I took those pictures for him and anything that happens further beyond me relaying messages I will bow out.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully, your bud will contact me? If he doesn't, it is not your fault. Ben

Great looking Brown! I've had the fortune to own a couple Ed Browns, with nothing but positive things to say. Both pistols (45 ACP & 9mm) run like a scalded dog...
