I use to have a Hunting & Fishing UNCLE and a Rich UNCLE that I looked up to.
Now, even though I'm older I am more excited to have a Competition Shooting UNCLE that I look up to!!!
I have taken 2 1/2 of his awsome trainings...I knew he could win it!
Las Vegas knew it because they would not let me bet on him winning.
So there you have it, WORLD, GLOBAL even UNIVERSE class shooter.
Who would not want bragging rights that they have been trained by this dude?
Oh, and by the way...congrats UNCLE Kurt, hope you have got over your international cold.

Thanks everyone. It was a blast! 30 stages with 5 full days of shooting. The American Standard team was 4th over all, so congratulations go to Ty Gentry, Jeff Cramblit, who was second in Senior (so a first and second in the old fat guy division for the U.S.), and Daniel Ernest. Without the ammo troubles we had we might have been on the podium for team as well. 42 countries were represented.......shotgun is BIG over seas! It isn't because they "can only own shotguns" ( that is true ONLY in the U.K. sort of), it is because they take it as a stand alone sport, not part of anything else. This was the first one ever and I and the rest of the Americans and American teams were proud to be part of it. A quick heads up World Rifle will be in 2016 in Russia, and 2015 will be the next world shotgun in Tailand. Thank you for all the kind thoughts guys.

It's an awesome achievement by you & the rest of the team. I hope we are as well represented for the rifle championship.

Congrats to Kurt and the team! Glad to see it got some press in the local paper too.

Russia sounds cool as does Thailand! Maybe ill be good enough to make the team by then too.

Please Show the crowd a picture of hat trophy Uncle Kurt.

Thanks Jesse! "Great Uncle" just can't let the age thing alone can you. I guess I am now supposed to make a dig on your attire or eye wear, but you have worn me completly smooth so I doubt I will interact with you much in the futur. Here are the pictures of the "hat trophie" although I fail to see how you would know about that. One is German from my good friend Uwe Hausser, the other on is from my very close Serbian friend whom I met in 92 durring the "great unpleasentness" and now shoots shotguns. Benitros Rakelich

A belated congratulations Kurt. Great shooting by you and the team.

BTW, If the championship is in Bankok, I might be able to direct you to some "fun" places. LOL. :D

Kurt you were already smooth mi amigo. That smoothness may have come from all the cider induced Q&A. Your advice is the reason for the little successes i have had thus far.

With that saud, I would hope for at least a dig on my sexuality if not my metro shooting attire.
