The 2012 Adams Arms Ozark 3-Gun Championship will be held September 7th through the 9th 2012. There will be 9 stages to shoot with raffles for everyone. Multiple sponsors are planning various early entry drawings and certain stages will feature additional cash bonus opportunities.

Adams Arms will once again be the title sponsor for the match. I would like to thank Adams Arms for their generosity and continued support. In addition, we have all the great sponsors from previous years as well as some first time sponsors. I will publish a list on the web site with links to them.

The match will be apart of the 3-Gun Nation points series.

*Registration will begin on March 16th at 8PM central time on the match website www.forconquest.com. There will be 210 competitor slots in squads of 12. Each squad will shoot 4 stages Friday and Saturday and 1 stage on Sunday.

This year’s match will feature some exciting new things with more details to come. Updates will be found here, on the website (www.forconquest.com), and Facebook(Ozark 3-Gun Championship).

See ya at the range.

The match director started a fire storm on Enos earlier today by eliminating tac-irons and replacing it with their version of 3 Gun "Production". He has since recanted and just added his new division and is keeping tac-irons.

Seemed kind of odd to make such an abrupt change on the day of registration. They seemed to fix it by just adding a division and kept the normal 3 gun divisions intact. I may sign up and make this my first out of state major.

The match had some small issues last year. By small I mean large. I hope it doesn't carry over to this year. The production division at last year's match would have been the most frustrating thing anyone could have ever done.

I have no plans to sign up for the production thing he thought up "on the fly" today. I will likely sign up for tac ops soon. After the computer melt down last year, I doubt I have to worry about this match filling up before I have funds available in a couple weeks.

Brandon you should hit them up to redesign their site for free match fees for 5 years. I forgot to sign up last night. Gonna do it today.

No doubt man! If those military guys would have showed up to shoot production last year they would have quit 3 gun forever and never came back. That was some tough shooting last year especially with the rifle.

I haven't entered yet either. I'm already entered at 5 major 3 guns this year, but there isn't much going on in September for me. I'm not going back to FNH or AR Section Multigun, so I might as well go to Ozark. I am concerned about the scoring SNAFU from last year and the potential for it to happen again. Returning competitors from last year get a discount on this year's entry. I don't think there's going to be a rush to enter this match. I also think that since the ProAm is 2 weeks before Ozark and FNH is 2 weeks after, it may hinder attendance.

Is the $250 Ozark entry fee typical? I'm apparently a newbie in the 3-gun world. Does everybody get a good prize at these major matches? The prize thing is not important to me. I just want to shoot and have fun. Just asking. Thanks.

$250 is pretty common for a major 3 day match. As far as prizes go nothing is certain. My guess would be that everyone gets at least $50-100 in stuff back. Obviously if you finish higher that amount rises. Last year the we're forced to do a random prize table due to a failure in the scoring system. I took home an $80 sonic cleaner. Chris Andersen won a $1800 rifle!

Thanks, Jesse. I'm just trying to justify putting in my application. A chance at a high-dollar prize of some sort would be cool. I'm sure it's a fun match.

I was planning on returning but it looks like I am on shift that weekend at the np plant. I ended up dead last in the random drawning, but actually scored better. would have been closer to the cleaner than the zombie vest i took home. But I did have fun shooting.

Thinking about going to this since it's close, but concerned by the horror stories. Anybody else going for sure?

It is too close to St. Louis not to go. The range is awesome. Great terrain, plenty of long range, jungle runs, etc. I expect things to be on the up and up this year to make up for last. If not this match is going to be history.
