Wow thats friendly.
Shooting laws here are complicated, hard to follow and don't make sense. There are 5 classes of license:
A-cat for bolt actions and low capacity semi auto's
B-cat for pistols, they can only be used on a registered range
E-cat for High capacity semi auto's (including standard AR15s the lines here are greyish)
C-cat for machine guns (which you cannot fire)
And the last is for dealers which is a D

That's a simplified version for you


I've been to a pistol club twice now, they also do 3-gun just not every weekend. 3 gun is what I'm wanting to do, I've shot clays and other stuff in the past. Done a lot of hunting and a heap of ammo using (read duck hunting is boring so I wind up shooting stuff)
