Yea what he said!! Good pointLance Jensen said:They are both games and need to be thought of as such. Both work skill sets and in my opinion USPSA develops those skills much more efficiently. Don't confuse mindset and tactics with a gun game. Just go have fun
If I remember correctly, the penalty for round dumping in the past was and FTDR (20 sec). Under the new rules, the FTDR was done away with and therefore so was the round dumping. Both were impossible to prove the shooters mindset and intent.Jeff said:Round dumping to get to slide lock is gaming and gets a penalty.
Ive never seen either called myself.stan686 said:If I remember correctly, the penalty for round dumping in the past was and FTDR (20 sec). Under the new rules, the FTDR was done away with and therefore so was the round dumping. Both were impossible to prove the shooters mindset and intent.
Thats some ambitious RO- ing. The rule asks for 50% cover.... wasnt there.... but any RO calling knuckles would be defending that call in any club or bigger match I've shot.ChrisC said:One of my shooting buddies is Roger Reid. I know he was called on a cover penalty because his knuckles was showing. I don't know if that's the same as a ftr but regardless I have been in a gun fight. I'm sure my knuckles were showing. I didn't get a penalty for not effectively using cover.
