I've been getting more into brass music and concert band performances, than my usual hard rock 'n roll...
I currently play 2nd chair trumpet with The Shriners Band here in town, along with the spin-off group of us Shriners called The Sauerkrauts, where we play German/Bavarian "Oom-pa-pa" style music during the Oktoberfest. So much fun...
Anyway, this clip is from 2002 and is the most incredible performance that I have ever heard. So many military bands from all over the world took part in an International Band concert in Bremen, Germany. Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, England, Canada, and our own US Army Band, amongst many other countries, performed the beautiful Righteous Brothers ballad "Unchained Melody".
