For it's designed purpose the 300 blackout is pretty decent round. Short range, reliable, and quiet. I thought it was a total gimick round when it came out, but I've since changed my mind. The 6.8 is an interesting idea.

I know it might be sacrilegious, but what about the 7.62x39? I've seen mention in other places of this for subsonic loads. I'm going to run mostly full power ammo, but I'd like the option for suppression.
