Mike Seeklander's excellent-but-has-a-corny-name podcast "The American Warrior Show" did an interview recently with Andrew Branca, the author of The Law of Self Defense. It covers this stuff pretty well.

Mr. Branca is actually an attorney so there isn't any gun forum theorizing. It's pretty good.
