One of the less fun ways of eradicating them would be to form/build a trap, and catch them, call over whomever wants the meat to dispatch them.
The trap design we use us a "multi-catch" so that you get more thna just one.. we;ve had as many as 13+ in a trap at once, with the lucky ones milling around outside and running off only after the truck arrived.
We're currently trapping, AND building "Hog Excluders" 30+" hog and cattle panels to prevent the hogs from getting to the deer corn... basically making something a deer can easily jump, but hogs can't.
The excluders will be anuwhere from 4x 16' panels, to larger area if you want more deer milling around...
Its crazy, but it works..
You may also want to spread diazinon on the yard too, it will at least kill the grubs and etc the hogs may be finding. If they're after acorns and roots, then you are up the creek..
