Started on my reloading room this weekend!

Very nice. I'm limited to my garage for reloading until the kids go to college in 10 years.

I know what you mean. That is where mine was until now. The kids are all out of the house and I have staked my claim on the front bedroom!!!

I hate yall... With 5 little kids my reloading room is the living room, after the kids go to bed. All my stuff fits in a 10 gallon tote. Lee Hand Press FTW...

Nice.
Couple of points. Looks to be a lot of shadow toward the wall behind the press. Suggest if there isn't good light to verify your charged case and level, that you get some light in there.
The second is the use your tumbler. It should be used in a well ventilated area. I use mine either outside or just inside the garage. The dust is very hazardous. You can put a used dryer sheet in to help collect the dust. Between the noise and the dust again I would suggest it be used elsewhere.

Shootingbuff beat me to it. Take the tumbler back to the garage. The dust contains lead. Lead styphnate is what is used in the priming compound. Dryer sheets do help some but there is no way to keep it from getting EVERYWHERE! Not long ago I opened my garage door while my tumbler was running and the sunlight "lit up" the dust in the air. I use dryersheets, mineral spirits in my media and a lid and still have a cloud. That stuff drifts everywhere.

I'm seriously thinking about going to the wet method with stainless media and this is the primary reason.

Anything to dampen the media helps. Still when you first take the lid off and dump it there is a chance of at least some dust/fumes. I cast off an on and my biggest concern is the dust from the tumbler. I used to wear a painters mask when I was high volume. Now I just hold my breath and turn my head with a fan blowing away from me.
Next thing is to wash your hands then wash them some more before touching anything, smokes, drink, face etc.

I don't get any dust out of my tumbler? Is it because I use polish in the corn cob?
I use a little bit of Nu-Finish too. I promise you are getting some dust. I couldn't tell it either for about a zillion loads until I opened up my garage door one day when the sun hit at just the right angle. It was a real eye opener. It's probably not a lot but that stuff goes wherever the air current takes it. Over time it will be everywhere. It's also probably not a big deal for us adults with common sense practices, but with little ones around I'd take every precaution I could.

I just started using the SS media last week and for what it's worth "F" the walnut crap! 2 hours in the SS then I rinse the brass off in the sink and throw it in the walnut for an hour to dry everything off and the brass comes out looking better than new, primer pockets are clean, flash holes, there is nothing left in the form of crud at all.

I'm still working on my little reloading area pretty much just need to figure out lighting but I can say it's pretty nice to be able to load in the house BUT all the brass prep is still done in the garage it's just too messy to be doing in the house.

Your off to a god start! let me know how loading in the chair works for ya, I never could get used to loading on the Dillon from a chair. Later,

Kirk

Don't know how much light you are looking for, but if it is just to see your powder charge I have seen folks take a small flexiable neck LED and mount it to shine into the case.

My dillon tumbler seals, but I do all my media separating outside. I try to get all the dust out I can with wet paper towels, don't want that crap on my ammo. 4 used dryer sheets per load, 1 cap of nu-finish every once in a while.
