thanks burk... also we broke the 50 mark!!! and with 6 new shooters, none DQ'd, also had 6 ladies shooting, so it was a great mix... although last night was the first time i had another shooter talk trash to me! Not only did shannon call me burk, but then after i corrected her, she said "well ya'll are the same height!!", i have never been so offended!

That's not bad, you can do bigger screw ups than that the more matches you shoot. Come out to Arcadia Saturday and give it a try. More movement and longer shots allow all of us to make more mistakes. Once in a while it all clicks but usually that's just the sound of an empty chamber for me.

Yeah, top 50!... Oh wait! Is there anyway I can find out where my penalties came from? It was my first match and I would like to know my mistakes so I can improve.

if your last name is rick... you had 5 wounds on stage one, one wound on stage 2, one wound 2 miss on stage 3, 3 wounds on stage 4, 1 wound on stage 5

David's penalties for shots outside the scoring zone are pretty steep. That being said the scoring zone is generous. Just let your sights be your gas pedal, don't shoot any faster than you can see them. It takes virtually no more time to get a zero down hit compared to a 3 down hit. Getting your points is first in any of the action shooting sports. A close second is not getting penalties, make shooting the match clean your goal.
