First real rifle match of the season, placed second after the current national champ. Sucked on the long range stage (which is not on this video) and was pretty decent at the rest.
First stage on the video is sitting on the crapper, rifle loaded and safe. Just like in everyday life.

Second L3 pistol match of the season. Me and a buddy stayed at this luxurious camping hut
which was advertised as a 2 person cabin, but actually turned out to fit more like 1,5 person
At the shared camping ground toilet they had a painting of this immense cock.
I have changed the recoil spring on the czechmate to a lighter 10lbs, which helped a lot in shootability, but was only able to test one mag before the match, so first match day was sort of spent in getting used to the gun and not shooting it as good as I could, second day thing came together a bit more and everything felt better. I had some top three stage results during the match and 6th place total. Next match is 2 gun nationals in a month which I'm really looking forward to.

First open pistol fame, I guess it's time to take this serious as well, no beer and whisky the day before match from now on. I was hoping pistol would be my refuge from serious shooting, where I could join the other less competitive guys for bbq and beer during match weekend.

The stages were awesome, it's the first time I shot this match. A lot of the stages had 2-3 possible solutions that were somewhat equal in score but catered to different shooters, the open guys could shoot some stuff long range that iron sight divisions are not comfortable with and so on.Burk Cornelius said:

Friday night was used for zeroing, load testing and so on. My target turret is spot on at all distances withmy ammo. Tested at 350 and 380, and also tried some standing offhand at 400 meters, and got in 3 of 5 shots at an IPSC target.
I always bring my proper sized one man tent at these gatherings, it's got room for a sleeping area, kitchen and office.
Saturday we shot some stages....of which I remembered to film a few.

400 9 major ready for 2 gun nationals.
Rifle is zeroed and ready for 2 gun nationals and nordic championship. Ballistic table matching the target turret on the Zeiss V8. Nordic Championship will see paper targets out to 380 meters, so there no room for error. Verified at 50, 100, 190, 230, 350, 380 and 400 meters. Everything is correct.
