We are changing the USPSA match date here at ATA. Steel Challenge will remain on the 2nd Saturday (this Saturday) as always, and will be a standalone match. Continue to expect 6 stages of Steel Challenge courses of fire, and possibly some side matches like the Pro Am or Action Rimfire stages, let us know if this interests anyone.
Due to conflicts that have been recently made to the scheduling of USPSA matches on the 2nd weekend, Rick Honey and I have decided to move our monthly USPSA match to the 4th SUNDAY of the month. This will provide an opportunity for many of us to get back to shooting steel where before we were tied up with running the USPSA match. Rick has been running the matches here at ATA for almost a year now and has been providing great stages with lots of movement and high round counts. We will be setting up the USPSA match on the Saturday before the match so more people can get involved with the stage design and setup. So if you have any ideas for a great stage let us know or show up and help set it up. Help is always appreciated and the setup crew shoots for free.
We will continue to run our IDPA match on the 3rd Saturday. I have been getting some great feedback about out IDPA matches and our stage design. Jeremy Harrison has agreed to be the coordinator for the match and between the 2 of us we will continue to provide the same great stages. Help is always appreciated and as with the other matches the setup crew shoots for free.
We have a lot of changes taking place her at ATA, we are revamping our website, providing more training opportunities and continuing to develop the range to provide more opportunities. We are looking at several major matches next year so stay in touch to find out when and where.
