I own a model 74 as well. It belonged to my grandfather and was actually the very first gun I ever shot. I received it from my grandma a few years ago in pretty rough shape. I ended up taking it to Franson's and had him completely refinish it. I will try and post up a few pictures this weekend.

The new S&W 343c, my understudy to my 340 M&P thumper. Big difference when you touch one off. 8 shot, about 11 ounces and fun to shoot. Got the loaders in today, might shoot it as my 2nd shoot in the next Heartland match.

And....the new Ruger 10-22 takedown model. Standard stainless 10-22 except it breaks down. Just happens to fit in the tour pack on my Harley.

New Ruger 22/45 Lite. I just picked this up last week and DANG, it's light. It has a threaded steel barrel insert inside an aluminum outer barrel. I just added the coyote brown grips today. It still eeds a speed-strip kit, reflex sight, and some trigger goodies. I can't wait for the Sparrow to come home with me!

Do you know if this upper will fit the original mark 3 22/45 lower? What's a speed strip kit?
