Plum Crazy Lowers

Never had a problem with "leading" with my Spike's Tactical .22lr conversion in any if my AR's. Usually put a 3-550 rounds in a session only sometimes followed by one or two .223, not every time. I've never worried about and never had any problems.

As for the PC lowers... No thanks for me.

Mine leaded up my rolling thunder comp something fierce!!! Do you run yours through the battelcomp? Does that comp have big expansion chambers? The lead got tick ontheir quick like. A standard flash hider would not have any issues with leading.

I'm not talking about leading in the compensator/brake/flash hider. My Spikes Tactical brake with "big expansion chambers" didn't lead up, it had carbon build up out the ass tho. A pick broke it all off easy enough to not cat lady about. Just part of it I guess.

I'm talking about leading in the barrel gas port where the bullet actually touches as it passes by. I've never had any problem with my .22lr conversion. At least not a big enough problem to get a dedicated upper that's double, or more, the cost. It's plent accurate for what I use it for it it doesn't hurt my .223 accuracy after I switch back. Just my take on the subject.

FYI: Plum Crazy Firearms is now known as PCF

from their website:

So what's the reason for the branding change? Well, as we have more law enforcement and military wanting to use our products, having "PlumCrazy" on the side of the magwell may not be the best· idea......, that's it -·no conspiracy or anything, just a simple business decision that allows us to further broaden our market place.
