What bullet weight is everyone typically shooting in PCC? 115? 124? Heavier?

Anything. It doesn't really matter. Faster is flatter if you're going to shoot out to 100.

This is true. heavier/slower bullets are going to drop more at long distances.
The faster you push them the less drop you'll have & the quicker you'll get feedback on your "hit"

I just got my gmr-13 broke in this weekend. Shooting whichester white box 115's were much more aggressive recoil of course than some 147gr -p Stand 1 armory "chubbies" I have. I was surprised at the difference it was like 2 totally different guns. As for bullet drop I was only able to shoot 25yrds this day but the 115's grouped 2.5" higher at 25yrds.

115 fmj @ 1000 fps and NO recoil
I dont reload much yet and I have a crap load of factory 115gr 9mm I was hoping to burn up in my GMR-13. It eats it just fine but I want to work with it and get it to shoot them much better than it does now. I went with a 14.5" with pinned comp so not sure what my options will be besides buffer and spring weights. I have been using my free time lately to get me new 3gun rifle tuned in and ready but hopefully soon I can work with my PCC more. I justified buying it by saying I has a few thousand rounds of ammo for it already 😎

I been shooting 115's because 124's haven't been shooting too well, not sure if the twist is too slow (seems odd) or it's just the load

I've developed a bunch of Bayou's for mine.

95
105
124
125
147

All of them perform fine.

The 105's and the 124's are the most accurate between 125-135pf.

I started out with 147's. I had to do several re-shoots cause the timer didn't pick it up. I switched to some 115's I had left and I've only had to do one re-shoot. When I run out of these I'm going to try some 124's.

So far I like the 147 gr bullets over N320. Soft shooting and accurate enough for USPSA.

If I decide to stay with heavy bullets, I'll replace the birdcage with a compensator in hopes sending a little more noise back to the timer.

115's, unsuppressed. Holds trajectory further. 147s drop like a rock at distance...quiet with a can, though!
