Kind of makes me sad, but cant argue with a good sale.

I haven't been in there for probably 4 years due to the total lack of customer service, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Sounds like the service at some big box retailers I know, to bad they can't be going out of business...dennishoddy said:I agree. Went in there a couple of years ago with cash in hand to buy an expensive OU 12 Ga that I had seen in stock.
After most of an hour of standing around waiting on somebody to help me, while the counter help BS'd with buddy's, I left, and went home to the internet.
Doesn't sound like anything has changed in the years since.
Of this there is no doubt. He could be a real prick when he wanted to be. But he was always good to me, I can't even remember how many guns I bought there over the years. Their pricing just couldn't be beat.mike cyrwus said:fred was an ass. Should have been gone 10 years ago

I did have an issue with one of their managers trying to tell the guy I was buying a gun from that I was doing a straw purchase. He came over and asked the guy what he was doing, that "this guy" was in there a couple of hours prior with another guy who had been denied on that same gun. I answered for him telling the prick that "this guy" hasn't been in the store in months until I walked through the door about 20 minutes ago, and that "this guy" would be more than happy to tell you to stick it up your ass, and go buy it at Academy. He backed off, the sales guy apologized and I replied "don't worry about it, we all have to work with pricks at sometime or another". I made it a point never to buy a thing from that manager ever again.
This is true of any gun store, and I have heard these types of statements about a certain larger store/range in the middle of OKC more than any other store(with the exception of the one in del city) so it's all relative. although in the case of that store, they are quite large and have quite a few employees, so the more wheat you have, the more chaff you have as well. I never had a problem with OA, granted, only been going there for about 3 or 4 years, so I wasn't around for the owner, but you are right, the pricing was phenomenal, even cheaper than SSP on quite a few guns(only by 10 or 20 bucks usually, but still)Larry Rigsby said:I've heard them called "attitude America" quite a few times because of the way customers were treated. In recent years the only dealings I had with them was blue label Glock sales.
