Ouch! %^&$%$&*%&*%$%$*%(*^(**

If you get it apart for lifter go ahead and change out the firring pin. Mine mushroomed out and did light primer strikes after a year of use. There's a thread on Enos telling you what to do

I was going to open up my port and fix everything but found some guys I shoot with who just started a company that did AK work and shotgun. For $250 it was worth it for me to have them do work

And I feel your pain. I thought I was going to lose my nail when it happened to me. Since I do hyperbaric medicine I was able to save it. If you put a good band aid one thumb before shooting a match that will help prevent a repeat offense

What you guys don't know about me is that I'm also a ballerina. As much as it seems like a prissy art form, it is not. I have lost many toenails and drilled holes in my toenails when needed. I will do like I did my toes--I'll tape my thumb up and see if I can still maneuver! Tape is a lifesaver.

I'm betting there's a lot that we don't know about you.

So maybe when you shoot you bring an element of grace and style to the game?

When, my CZ712 bit me (full on extractor penetration through the thumb nail) I taped it and still shot matches. At a 3gun match in tulsa, my infected thumb exploded in puss during the shotgun only stage. With 3 stages left, I finished the match, score sucked though...
I threw up at a match....... then I went home

dont give him that much credit. It was a different match!

If I remember right, It was about this time last year at OKC gun club 3-gun. Right after the long range rifle/shotgun stage.
I think so, and I went 3 for 3 at long range. Then I threw up and left

Jennifer, I should have showed you my JM PRO saturday, but I didnt know about this thread. Send your lifter to Jeff and you'll have it back in less than 2 weeks. I did the loading port, Jeff did the lifter. Of course I quad load/twins load, so the lifter never really caught my thumb anyways.
