OKCGC Saturday April 30th All Shotgun Match

Really?

When they opened the new supercenter was when I was working up there. The regular WM had some guns, ammo, etc. When they opened the brand new supercenter they had diddly squat. I talked to a cop in the new one a day right after it opened and he was pissed that they ditched all firearm related items. We were both like "oh well, off to Liberal we go". I used to stop at the Optima WMA range in the evenings and shoot when I got finished at the courthouse.
I had to stop in there in December on my way to NM. Forgot to pack winter socks and left my coat at home.
It was stocked up. All depends on the department manager from what I hear. That's the problem with ours.

Is this match newbie friendly? I have minimal gear and even less skills with the shotgun than my meager handgun abilities. Still, I would like to shoot it to get the feel for it.
Shotgun matches are pretty laid back even compared to a USPSA pistol match.

Just got done running the weed eater for an hour. This 32 round 40 yard jungle run is gonna be super fun.

This match just got all kinds of awesome; was thinking it was going to be in the short bays only. I vote for the Cooper Tunnel to make a reappearance as well.

Is 32 rounds going to be the highest round count stage? I'm going to need more caddies...

2 cooper tunnels is enough for 2016, maybe we'll bring it in next year

Here are my three stage diagrams. They are subject to change once RM/MD Tony Wall looks at them. We are going to find out once and for all who can load the shotgun the fastest on the clock. Then unload it.

Notice the ambiguous start positions... Something we came up with at Generation III Gun. Start however you want that way the RO doesn't have to decide what low ready and port arms really is.

I still have a huge scar on my knee from that stage. Thought I was going to bleed out before the match was over. Blood made it all the way down into my socks.
I was about to pass out the rest of the match from blood loss, but fought it to finish.

Ok, not really, but I did bleed a lot.

Anybody shooting Akudal1919? Might need another mag to finish this one.

Ouch, doesn't sound like fun, your scar can join Jesse's from the rifle match. People shouldn't be loosing so much blood at competitions lol...

This was me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmdGQIh29Yk

You will be better than that. I guarantee it.

E: I still LOL at Jesse resetting targets while I'm shooting on the homerun stage.
