Glad to hear the rifle shoots great.
One of my favorite sounds is racking back an AK it is real loud and makes me smile.
I bet if Matt stippled your AK grips it would shoot more accurate

- the sad thing is that this AR upper was only tiny bit more than my AK, looks just like a bone stock GI issue A2 and even worse... can put three holes together in a group the size of a quarter even with cheap TULA ammo. It brings me great pain to say this, but the AR is better at what matters most "hitting what you are aiming at"

I finally took the AR out yesterday and the thing I dreaded most happened - I liked it

We are all trying to figure out who actually makes the decisions about these matches? I'll email John Bent or do I need to email the Board at the gun club? Oh wait, we can check the website the night before the match for updates.
