OKCGC 3gun May 26th -Who's ready?

Scott had some of those white guys jump in my way 3 of them to be exact but they felt nothing as they were all head shots and placed well if I may say so LOL

I'm just a fat guy and I REALLY did like the stages using two bays! stage 4 was up there in the top stages I've liked and not only casue I shot it well, starting shotgun dry made me realize I've got work to do loading! figured out I can load 3 faster than 4 so might just go with that.

Fella's had a good time yesterday, the BBQ afterwards hit the spot and Corey I don't want to hear it you beat me :onthequiet: blind hog will find an acorn every now and again LOL Later,

Kirk

Kirk, you burned down stage 4 with those iron sites on the 200 yd targets.

Michele got some good pictures of you on that stage. Check them out at www.michelecornelius.com

I got a couple or three myself. What hurts worse? .308 or .45?

I actually hit the long range ones, much to my surprise, then moved and couldn't hit them to save my life! Finally got one right before I timed out. Should of just went on, but I wasted so much time on the pistol finding my hold I figured I was gonna time out anyway. And those little bastards up close are tough too with irons!

I'm definitely gonna have to have some pics. She really knows how to use that nice ass camera. Make sure she comes back. And you need to start shooting 3G and pistol matches with us.

also liked the 2 bay stage... i think next time reverse it.. meaning start on the bay on the right have the pistol/rifle then run to the bay on the left and have numerous shotgun targets you take out while walking towards the "forest"....

Thanks Burk! you will here soon find some of my money in the increments of $3 here in the near future. Those pics are really good, there are a couple I really like but there are some good shots of several folks. Can she photoshop me skinny and do away with some of that gray hair? LOL

Either way it was a good time, awesome weather granted it got a touch warm there towards the end, a mess of good people, and we got to shoot a great match! thanks to all who helped get this together, wish I could have gotten out of work to come help, I need to take some days off might be able to pull it next time around. Later,

Kirk

Thanks everyone for a great match and especially to Feegee for letting me borrowed his spare pistol, holster and ammo to shoot the match. It was a horrible feeling when you put on the belt and holster and realized that you left the pistol at home.
I got all the way out to USSA this morning & started sorting out my gear for the 3gun match & realized I left a bag at home.
It was touch & go for a minute there until found I had put my mags in the wrong bag, in my ammo bag (that I had brought) & didn't have to borrow some.
I was still without ear & eye protection & had to borrow.
Thanks to my awesome buddies for helping me out.

If y'all want her to keep coming out make sure you buy some photos. $3/digital print is cheap!
Super cheap for action pics of this quality.
These pics are outstanding.

Burk, It's easy to see who the talented one in the family is.

Tony, at least the bag didn't fall out of the truck on the way LOL

I do my best to pack things up the night before loading the truck BUT with the group of guys that shoot this little sport we call 3-gun pretty sure if I ever forgot anything I'm pretty sure I'd be covered. Great group of people these 3-gunners are! Later,

Kirk

I had a great time at the match. Thx for all who setup and ran the match.
This being my second 3 gun match and the first with my AR i learned alot.
Stage 4 taught me an important lesson That is i suck! rotfl!
Im looking forward to more 3 gun and getting good enough so i dont time out. lol
Thx to jesse for the tips as we moved from stage to stage.

we used to have a JP that posted on BS but he would never transition to a lesser gun such as an AR lol

:) - the sad thing is that this AR upper was only tiny bit more than my AK, looks just like a bone stock GI issue A2 and even worse... can put three holes together in a group the size of a quarter even with cheap TULA ammo. It brings me great pain to say this, but the AR is better at what matters most "hitting what you are aiming at" :(

I finally took the AR out yesterday and the thing I dreaded most happened - I liked it
