OK State .22 & .223 Tactical Rifle Indoor Championship

I should have asked to use my AK since I am the AK guy. Too bad it's too much gun for an indoor match!

WTH is that going to prove? The AK cannot compete with the AR!! :D
Well, maybe at short range where pin point accuracy doesn't count. ;)
I don't know - just to show how much more bigger my bullet is than those 55gr .223 bullets
BTW, I've seen how you all shoot - Accuracy went out the window a long time ago.

When I sent in my registration I thought this was the OK State .22 Tactical Rifle Indoor Championship. Now it seems it has turned into something entirely different. Much like a "run what you brung" local club match and not a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.

I can't imagine all of you guys that are planning on crashing the party with CF rifles don't have access to a 10-22.

I'm not sure I want to drive 3 1/2 hours (one way) with my 2 TACTICAL 22s to shoot against only 2 or 3 other TACTICAL 22s.

How many STANDARD DIV rim fire rifles are registered?

How many TACTICAL DIV rim fire rifles are registered?

How many CF DIV rifles are registered?

just curious, but lets say there are 3 other tact .22s (although from what people have said in this thread i am sure there are more) why would that matter, if the stages are fun, i would show up and shoot even if i was the only guy, because when i shoot the stages how many other people are there doesn't make the stages more or less fun... in fact i prefer less people because that means more shooting and less waiting!!

I know there is more than 2 or 3 or coming. David does put on an awesome match that will challange your skills and have some fun to boot. I'm bringing my M&P15-22 for 22LR non-mag tactical and M&P15 but will gladly leave it in the truck if we need to open a spot for a 22LR entry. My only real concern is mixing up my M&P's

The OK State Pistol Match is Saturday. They are recognizing only 2 of the 6 Divisions. If you are shooting one division, does it matter how many are shooting the other?

The bottom line for this match is participation. As I previously posted, the turnout of this match will decide if any future matches if this type are held at Heartland. Allowing other guns was a way to boost participation.

It's not an ideal solution, but it's better than canceling a match that shows much promise.

You are right, hopefully we can do this match at least once a quarter!!
