Yugoslavian M70 in 7.62 x 39

Russian Saiga in 7.62 x 39 converted into AK-103 configuration. It is satisfying to have an AK-103 with "MADE IN IZHEVSK, RUSSIA" and "IZHMASH" stamped on the receiver. Optic is a Burris FastFire red dot mounted in a LaRue Tactical "AK IRONDOT" mount.

Just noticed .... in the last pic you can see where the front sight is "painted" white. I use White Out on the rear (i.e. the side I can see) of the front sight to help contrast against the rear sights. Black rear sight notch + white front sight = faster sight picture. Your mileage may vary, but the red dot cowitneses with the iron sights and the red dot shines brighter against a white backdrop, an unintentional, yet convenient, side-effect of something I do on all of my "combat arms."

Oh, and very nice avtomat. You coming to the shoot? If so, you can shoot my 5.

Tentative "yes" and tentative "no." Might be too busy moving. Then again, we might be burned out on moving and need a distraction!
