Need 1911 kit info.

There was a guy on reddit who built his own 1911 on one of the Fusion kits, with no prior gunsmithing experience.

Conclusion: it can be done if you take your time. Also it will not be as good as a Wilson Combat CQB (lol)

IMHO,It doesn't matter what kit you buy it doesn't guarantee proper function.
Your best bet is to take a class and put a 1911 together that way with supervision.
The Cylinder& Slide, Bob Marvel, and Bob Rodgers classes come to mind. They are expensive but you come home with a custom pistol that works safely and a whole bunch of knowledge which is priceless.
