Imagine if you'd had took my advice in the beginning.....glad you're running trouble free now buddy
I'm young and stupid. Lol. Already sold the PSA though. Lesson learned. Any wisdom on a large ejection port upper?

Probably just needs a reeeeaaaaallllly good cleaning.
What power factor is the ammo?
Factory 115gr Freedom Munitions. The cleaning probably could be the issue. I didn't clean it after the last match so it probably had 400 rounds through it when it happened.

I can't believe how dirty these PCC's run..

A large ejection port definitely helps but 9mm will run fine with a normal sized opening.
QC10 uppers have enlarged ports but they are frequently out of stock.
I usually try to stock up on them when they're available.

AR style PCC's get extremely dirty very quickly because of the blowback operation of the bolt.
There is no lockup of the bolt & when you fire it, it immediately begins to open with no dwell time.
Once the bolt starts moving, the gas & carbon starts escaping out the chamber end of the barrel dirtying up your bolt & receivers.

Went out and shot two magazines through this baby. Smooth! Only problem is last round hold open. It's not. I thought QC10s did. Anyone know?

Trigger was SWEEEEEETTTTTT! I've never shot such an amazing trigger. Can't wait to get healed up where I can really get after it and put it through the paces!

My QC10 lower has the mechanism for the last round hold open but it doesn't work on mine. I think the bolt release spring is too strong and it won't lift up the bolt catch after the last round for me. I could probably tinker with it and get it to work but I really don't care enough to get it to work. I have the +10 Taylor Freelance on my 31 round glock mag so I don't have to worry about reloads unless they're mandatory.

I'm looking at adding the +10 as well. Went to MakeReady and he only had one. Was going to put one on each of my 31 Rd mags. So I thought I'd wait.

Did you use the bolt catch spring that came with the QC-10 lower?

The LRBHO on my QC-10 works part of the time. I've really only tested it when zeroing the dot and plinking. It never locks back when using a Magpul magazine. On Glock mags it's more reliable. I don't know that I've ever run it empty on a 41 round extended magazine.

You know, I'm not sure, Travis. Can't remember if I used the QC10 spring or the one that came with my Strike Industries bolt catch. Hmmm...

I used my own. I'm really not worried about it. I'm not planning on running a 41rd mag dry. And if it's a high capacity stage, I'll try to plan my reload or reload early to a 30 round backup mag.

I'm not WORRIED about it. I just like my equipment to work as intended.

Like Travis, mine works part of the time. That is mainly when the gun has just been cleaned. I had the unfortunate experience of running the 41 rd mag dry today on an all steel stage with a irish star that ate my lunch. It did not hold open. After the match, I let another guy run a g17 mag through it to try it out and it also did not work. It is not a feature I really care about but my experience is that it is so sensitive that on a gun with a 100 or so rounds through it since its last cleaning, I wouldn't count on it.

It will only work with the reduced power spring that came with the lower & then it's iffy depending on how strong your mag spring is (it has to be really strong).

I have more 41+1s on the way

If you bring it to the Hi cap hose down in Ponca City Ok, you better have a spare mag. lol
