Henry sure makes some nice rifles. But, lever action rifles have never really appealed to me. If I were to own one now, I would want a Henry.

I have a Henry Big Boy 44mag. Haven't shot it yet. But I'm thing of getting another Henry just for the hell of it. They just look & feel great. One of the original "Assault Rifles". LOL

Thanks, it is. I'm not crazy about the scope, but I don't find traditional buckhorn lever sights with enough adjustability for work as detailed as say a squirrels head.

I'd like to get a set of Skinner sights installed and get the glass off of it. I'm the mean time, the scope is a tool to make it work.

Skinner sights are great on a rifle like that, but at my age, my eyes work better with a scope.

I have a Big Boy in 357mag, bought it because if the looks and wood.
Like HooDoo Man I haven't shot it yet but couldn't resist!
