Some `mighty great Americans are holding the line.
Henry sure makes some nice rifles. But, lever action rifles have never really appealed to me. If I were to own one now, I would want a Henry.

Thanks, it is. I'm not crazy about the scope, but I don't find traditional buckhorn lever sights with enough adjustability for work as detailed as say a squirrels head.

I'd like to get a set of Skinner sights installed and get the glass off of it. I'm the mean time, the scope is a tool to make it work.

Skinner sights are great on a rifle like that, but at my age, my eyes work better with a scope.
