Living in NY just got way worse.

Mattvip,
I understand and agree with you.
On a personal level I do not feel the police should be better armed than the citizens that are calling them. If the police need high cap magazines to deal with people that have no respect for the law then it should be obvious that I need to be armed with hicap magazines when the police are 20 min away. That is just me ranting
I agree 100% and I'm in Law Enforcement. I'd rather people be able to adequately defend themselves against all threats, and contrary to the beliefs of the uninformed the more bullets you have at your disposal in a magazine the more options you have to address a threat (preaching to the choir I know). If it ever does come to confescation I'll be the first one turning in my badge.

Shouldn't turn in your badge, maybe do what you can and help keep your fellow officers on the side of liberty.

Most of us are on the same page. We refuse to follow orders in direct violation of the constitution. But if we refuse to follow orders we get fired (ie. no pension/ benifits) if we quit, we at least get our leave balance paid and a few other benifits that'll hold us over till we get other employment.
