Can I get a cost of the machine to do this engraving?

About 5000 to 5500. I thought about getting one but did not know if I could make my money back.
I will check and see if the guy is willing to do some mags for you but he has been kind of bitchy about it lately!

I don't know if volume would make up his mind but it would be about 20 M&P 40 mags and 10 2011 mags.

I would like an idea of mag cost as well. Probably have 30+. M&P, mec-gar, stainless Wilson Combats, etc.

So from the research that I've done - the laser engravers are not good on steel. To get steel engraved you need an actual engraver.

What would you pay per mag to get them numbered / engraved?

depends on the laser. I just need to find one with enough power for steel.

For the harder metals you need CerMark or TherMark spray.

Plan on spending in the 5 figures then Tony.

Cermark wouldn't work on black mags like cz mags though. I mean it would but wouldn't be visible.

Well now since there is a butt load of interest I will ask him Monday if he will do it and I will also get all the info on what kind of laser it is and the Programming.

You only need to use the CerMark or TherMark on white metal. The black coated metal should engrave fine without any type of coating.
