Sorry I missed this post. A band of this storm has been on top of my son near Wilmington all day. Hope the rain abates.

It never materialized in the low country of SC, so my sister was able to kick my mother out once the retirement home opened back up, which is good because someone was gonna die if mom stayed in the same house with them any longer.

As for Casa Fieldgrade? All is good.

We are good too; lost power for about 20 hours (back on now), but no major issues.

I was really freaked out when I read if they didn't get fuel at the Wilmington water plant they'd have to stop providing drinking water in 48 hours. I was trying to reach family there, and then they updated the news article to say they had secured the necessary fuel. *whew*
