If you had already voted, please vote again and I will stay out of the way this time.....carry on

Typically twice a week. Live fire practice on Wednesday and a match in the weekend. My sponsor really doesn't like me shooting bigger matches. Mainly because she doesn't get to go with me to places very often. But I still have lots of miles to drive to drop empty moonclips on the ground this year.

I live in lawton so most weeks I shoot daily. My biggest problem is choosing which neighborhood...
I dont always shoot up Lawton neighborhoods, but when I do, Its full auto Friday's at Wayne's Drive In!

I've started shooting Wednesday evening NRA Hi Power rifle matches at our range. Its off hand, no support, no slings at 3" targets, 100 yards away. 20 rounds.

So far, my buddy has won the last two with a .204 Ruger bull Barrel bolt gun. He is a beast at off hand shooting.

Next month, we start the hand gun Safari match. Any hand gun legal for deer in Oklahoma qualifies. Revo or semi.

There are full size paper animal targets at 25, 50, and 75 yards. The match is scored by hitting the target in the most vital area. A head shot is an alpha, and so on.

A head shot on a squirrel at 75 yards is pretty difficult.

Sounds excellent. What time do these matches start?

6 pm for the Hi-Power. We shot the last match tonight. The MD for the handgun safari was shooting as well. His matches will start at the same time.
