High Plains Shotgun Challenge 2012

i was just making sure they were legal for this match. the 2012 ipsc shotgun book says no part of the cartridge may extend 75mm past the body. i measured it and thank god for my gut, but even then there is a ton of room to spare.
 
We are not using the 2012 rules, we are using the 2009?? or which ever revision was the previous,

Stages will run from 6 round short courses to 20+ round large courses. There are 3 stages using less than 10rounds and 3 stages using more than 20, the rest fall in the middle.

Kirk, I'm sorry but the match is FULL, ............................................................................just kidding!! we are at about the half full mark so don't procrastinate.

Sheeut! Scared the living crap out of me lol I was lazy this past weekend and didn't send my app in. It is here beside and i will ensure it hits the drop box on the way home.

Mine was dropped off as I had mentioned it would be on the way home today. Wish I would had dropped it at the end of last week like i had intended, so as not to have had the crap scared out of me earlier with Trapr's post about being full .
 
Hunter since you are planning on going to the WSG, it would be good for you to plan on playing with the current ruleset. also if there are any questions you have about the trip.......ASK!!
We would much rather you pester us now than have to deal with authorities or IPSC officials there.

Ok its been awhile since I posted anything, and when I was at the range last I noticed lots of busy little cowboys had changed the range landscape, so i've had to revise some of the stages. Not too much but just to make them fit into the new buildings and bays better. Right now we're looking at 13 stages, anyone thats superstitious let me know and I'll start you on stage 13 just for laughs :O I'll get a new round count out in the coming weeks, but something of interest for everyone......there will be one stage that is a buckshot stage that will not be limited to 00 buck 12ga /#3 buck 20ga, so if you want to shoot #4 buck or 000 or whatever you are free to do so on that stage only. but you must use buckshot,...It is a 5 steel target stage, but you will probably need more than just 5 or 6 or 7.

Also I've gotten very sick and tired of all these no imagination start positions, "port arms, fully loaded gun" etc. so be prepared for unloaded starts, empty chamber starts, loaded chamber only starts, gun loaded partially, gun on table, gun in a rack, start on your back, start seated, start prone, perform a task before shooting, all ammo on table, etc, you may only see the same start position used twice, if you're lucky. Some of the stages I've never seen done this way before, so just like 1x optics in limited, we'll lead the way. Be prepared for lots of fun, and shooting, plus stuff you've probably never seen before.

We still have slots left, and i'm still waiting for some of my RO's to send in apps, I'd hate to have to drop stages because we don't have the necessary RO's.

What does the standard pump division allow as far as mods? Any? Can you have an extended tube?

Also, do I have to be a member of something to shoot this? IPSC? OKCGC? Girl scouts?
 
Was there going to be a giveaway for an entry for this match. I'm feeling lucky and it would make my day.
