Goals for 2012?

1. Pass Step 2 Boards in August (most don't know what that is but believe me it is my number one priority at this moment)
2. Join up at USSA when I get done with my rural rotations and electives.
3. Training: Handgun first then down the line
4. Start going to some kind of matches
5. Finish up a few gun projects

1: Pay the damn credit cards off!
2: Slow down and learn to aim
3: Get my AR set up for open sights
4: Try to get in some REAL practice
5: Get back in the gym! last surgery the knee feels awesome and it just makes ya feel better to be in shape.
6: Be a good person

There's some more but hey gotta start somewhere. Later,

Kirk

I hope 2012 will be better to me than 2011 was (divorce and all the related drama that goes with). So here's what I'm aiming for to help that along:

1. Let boxer's fracture in right hand heal.
2. Dont break anything else.
3. More salads, less burgers
4. Get back in the gym (blew out ankle, healed, then broke hand....)
a. Get benchpress back around 300
b. cardio 45 minutes, three times a week
c. cut 15 pounds
5. Shoot 2 matches a month
6. Dedicate myself to a practice/training regime
7. A-card in Production and L10
8. Continue to improve my holsters
9. Tell my kids that I love them. Everyday.
10. Get in touch with my feminine side......

Kidding on the last one!

I'd love to see "A" in limted and open in 2012... I'm not sure if I'm capable, but I'm going to give it a shot.
I'd also like to achieve a level of fitness that will aid in getting to the first goal and better overall health as I'm getting old. lol.
I'd also like to advance my mental game a ton.
etc...
etc...

HOA at a 3GN series event.

GM limited.

And to beat el Prez Phil at a pistol match... :)

This is very close to mine but HOA means beating the Open guys too.

Win a major match in Tactical Optics Division
Win any Divsion in a Major Pistol Match
Get my Master Card for USPSA Pistol
Shoot my first Major match in Heavy Metal Division
Shoot my first Major match in one of the two Non Magnified Divisions
Fill my range with steel and target stands

My two shooting goals are

1) get out of D class in Single Stack USPSA
2) break > 90% in the OKCGC spring skeet league

A class in production and to finish top 25% at a mid major 3 gun or top 33% at a major.

1. Make Grandmaster in Open (and shoot like a GM, not just be classified as one)
2. Continue my streak of Top 25's at major 3-Gun events
3. Meet Jesse T. and Cyrwus
4. Take my wife on our "Corona Commercial" vacation

Rich

my goals are to streamline my workload and have more predictable turnaround times, quit the copenhagen, and lose weight.

I just gave into buying another can of dip, I tried to go cold turkey the last two days, but I about went mad today fitting 1911 barrels, I was getting too jumpy.
Looks like Ill have to wean myself off it .

Im going to help you with 3. amigo~!

One goal I never had, and one i could care less about, is making GM. I shoot so much better when I could give a crap about classification.

My goal is to make B class in Single Stack and Open this year - and hopefully kick some ass with my new AI Limited gun when its finished....

I'll just post my facebook status from 1-1-12 ;

"Screw you 2011. You will go down in infamy as the worst year of my life for several reasons. In 2012 I vow to be happy, to make the best of my life on MY terms. I vow to live guilt free of my past and to be the best person I can be."

That is very vague so I'll break down the things that I am working towards and feel comfortable displaying on a public forum;

1) spend more time with the people that matter
2) be happy
3) get into better shape
4) quit smoking
5) go to at least six 3 gun matches at OKCGC or USSA
6) practice dry fires, mag changes, shotgun loading
7) ride my dirtbike, ALOT
8 ) ride at both ISDE qualifiers (ISDE is an international off-road motorcycle race)
9) find meaningful work that I enjoy
10) play fetch with my dog Willie every day.

I can relate to the Copenhagen issue. My biggest hang-up is needing to quit, but not wanting to.

My lack of nicotine may be hazardous to others health...

I can assure #3 will happen and I recommend that you hit the British/US birgin islands for #4. Head to the Sandy Spit via private boat. Then have the captain take you to Willie T's, Soggy Dollar Bar and the other 3-5 awesome beach bars in the area. I have the bane if a kick ass captain if you are interested.

Other goals...

Grow BoomerShooter to 3,000 members
Get more shooters shooting 3 gun
Get more firearms owners shooting any type of match

1374. We grew about 1000 in the first year. I'm hoping to double that as we get more cool jerseys out there and do more awesome giveaways.
