Never heard of this brand. Found it while looking for some 357/38spl . Getting 357 Mag for less than $14.69 a box of 50? (+ 12.99 for unlimited shipping) seems pretty good. 1296 FPS, 158 GRN HOILLOW POINT BRASS CASE.

Anyone tried this?

I thinks pretty good myself, tried some in .38 Super, runs fairly hot.

No case failures?
Is it anything out of the ordinary in its cleanliness?

Thanks boys.
I went ahead and ordered 10 boxes of 357 & 1 of 38 spl. Plus some Hornady 10mm flexlock.

Trust me, I'll be posting my thoughts as soon as I get it as I'm anxious to try it out in my GP100MC.

I have used 380 ammo from them no problems even in my picky Kahr CW-380, I also shot it in a Taurus Spectrum 380, and a LCP II.

I have a finicky ATI 9mm 1911 that I have put a zillion dollars into and Geco feeds 100 percent reliably. Its pretty clean and falls into my 10 bucks a box for training ammo. I always keep some just for that gun. After a new WC extractor I can shoot some other brands but if I need to be sure I am using the Geco.

Just checked GRABAGUN's price on that. $11.99 p/50
Is that about what you pay?

I was buying from sportsmansguide.
It was 56.00 for 300 rounds. Free shipping. So it was a great deal. I do not know what they sell for now. I was a member too so I saved a couple of dollars too.
I like S&B too.
I read somewhere that 9mm is Europes round. They do a great job.
Let us know how you like it.

I do like S&B, and Magtech seems to be my favorite for both price and quality. Thats usually what feeds my 10mm 1911's.

I hope that this runs just as good.

All this talk about ammo has me thinking about puttin a few downrange today. And, since the GF is out for a hike today .... ;)

My order showed up yesterday.

Frickin UPS.
A couple months ago I had a "porch pirate" loss. I have 2 acres fenced and gated, and they leave the packages right in front of the gate, when they should put them to the side where the fence vines will hide them. But, no common sense with these guys.
So I grab the work truck with a boom and go out in the woods and get 3 good size boulders (avg 5 K lbs per) and make a 3 sided structure with my address in big brass numbers on the middle boulder.
I've left many a note on my gate addressed to FEDEX/USPS/UPS to leave ALL packages behind the boulders.

The stupid UPS guy just can't get the idea and continues to leave all packages in front of the gate.:rolleyes:

Anyhow, the GF and I took the 38 spl & 357 mag out for a test.

Very happy with its performance!
Both ran very cleanly!

This is my Ruger after 50 rnds of 357.
And the 'ol highly tuned hand says that it runs "hotter" than the normal Federal 357.

I'll definitely buy more in the future.

Everyday price here in Illinois at Rural King is $13.49 for a box of 50 158 gr. Tul ammo. Yes they are steel casings but the price is better. I have shot many of them and they work fine.

Geco has been around along time, and used to make BATS which was like the Black Talon and banned, they make great ammo
BATS- Black Talon and KTW all were banned from sale, not low rated ammo at all, full house loadings. Doubt many on here ever heard of KTW or BATS

I've heard from some that the Tula 38/357 gets tough to eject out of the cylinder, that they swell a bit?

I don't mind the 50 cents price difference to get hollow points.

GECO is good to go! I run it in 9mm (124gr) and 45acp (230gr) and it's accurate and somewhat clean in both calibers (but I clean my guns religiously anyway). Order away....and shoot away!!
