One thing I've been glad to see become more available have been chronographs. There've been a lot of myths and junk reloading science debunked due to better chronograph availability. I remember when they were fairly expensive luxury items and not particularly reliable. I had a neighbor in high school who was part owner in a then-state-of-the-art Oehler. I don't recall what model it was, but it took a hell of a lot of set up to get it working. Now I can carry my little Shooting Chrony to the range and be ready to go in 5 minutes or less. I've had an Alpha model for several years, but I'm thinking more and more of upgrading to a Beta model to get a PC interface.
