Perhaps I could guide you into real food.
Elk, deer, quail, pheasant.

My house hold has had very little store bought meat since the mid 80's.

I do like beef rib eyes, choice to prime quality.
deer is good. I'd be game for some elk, pheasant or quail.

The mrs is a nurse, I can only imagine what goes on during times like these. Probably like sailors pulling into port in the Philippines.

I feel the pain my wife is going on her 7 day work nights sleep days thing. However I get a lot of crap done while she works nights and me days.

So I get to live at the hospital until Thursday due to the ice storm. Fun. Slumber party in the ER!!
That just sounds like a blast. I would go batty if I was stuck at the casino for 4 days. Not to mention they make us still pay for a hotel room and employees can't drink on property so yeah....

Well, I've been here for 40 hours, and they say the worst is coming tonight. We will see what time tomorrow I get to go home.........if I get to go home. It won't be before 7pm. On the bright side I should be able to buy lots of ammo with this paycheck! :-)

New Frito Chili Pie update.

Made a new chili recipe tonight. Used one package of chili seasoning and one package of taco seasoning and THIS

I love spicy bloody Mary's. But I'm kinda scared to mention alcohol after the browbeating I got for mixing coke with my bourbon.

That's not Chili...
Chili ingredients do not come from a package or a can.
Meat is the main ingredient. Preferably dragged out of the woods.
Green chili's
Jalapeno
fresh onion
oregano,
Paprika
Sea Salt
Fresh cracked black pepper
and chili powder in the proper amounts constitutes chili.

I'll give you the phone #'s of some co workers for reviews.

Edit: I just saw that was for FCP. It still ain't right. :D

A proper bloody mary and a paper sack of tackle with a fishing rod is a great way to start an Oklahoma fishing trip.

I only know ONE person who can beat my Bloody Mary and I make it a point to have one once a week if I can.

Three quarts of clamato, bottle of Worcestershire, ten good shakes of tabasco, or more according to taste, two tablespoons of celery salt, two table spoons of garlic powder, some aromatic bitters if you have it, and a fifth of good vodka or aged moonshine. Garnish with celery greenery or green onions.

BOOM! Instant party!

So I basically worked 60 hours straight with a nap here and there between being woken up for issues that needed a manager. While I was there a tree fell on my house. Came home last night to no power and almost busted my ass on the ice getting in the house. Finally have power and I slept twelve hours straight. I don't think I have ever been so exhausted. The insurance company has declared our area a catastrophe. I hate ice.

Sucks about the tree. We had an epic ice storm here about 5 years ago. No power for 2 weeks. I cleared any trees from around my house, shade is overrated.
