Using hicap mags loaded up for a subcompact gun will put you in Hi-Cap.
The downloading those hicap mags to ten question made me ponder a bit....if _I_ was a gamer and wanted to maximize my performance in sub-compact, I'd use a Glock 26 with 19 or 17 mags, complete with sleeve. Then it'd feel and handle like a larger gun. Except the recoil would be less than the fullsize gun due to less slide mass. Set up as such, it's really no longer a sub-compact as it would have a full size grip and less recoil. Now it would still be a gamey set up for Hi-Cap, as the sight radius wouldn't matter much at these distances and it'll kick less, be faster on the draw, etc.
So, no, downloading longer mags to ten won't fly in Sub-Compact.
