The folks at OCOK will be forming a list. The 'other' forum has collected lists of non carry freindly businesses. Reasors seems to get into anti gun mode once a year... last time we just rang the phone off the hook and they backed down.

OK has no regulation about uniform signs. "NO GUNS" in one inch letters at the bottom, top, middle or whatever could be construed as warning here. Texas has a standard sign...it cites statute and has to hung at a standard height.

And before the folks get started on we should be like Texas, just remember it's a two sided coin. Yes they have signage standards and all but they also have coded penalties for violation. They ain't playin, there is no gray area.

Frankly I'd rather have the Texas law where there are known penalties.

I'm not saying I wouldn't still pelvic-thrust my way past "no guns" signs, but I'd rather know exactly what risks I was taking.

The good thing about OC is that someone will waltz into a business where guns are prohibited carrying a giant chrome Deagle and get themselves arrested. When the smoke clears we'll finally have some kind of precedent to settle the no gun sign question.

I've read a suggestion, that as well as sending Resors a letter of complaint, send in some grocery receipts from walmart or another grocers with the letter. Let them know it could have been theirs.

Anybody have a copy of a good letter we can all use to send to these establishments?
