Here is a 16" JP15 rifle with a battlecomp and the new Carbon Arms 16" carbon fiber FF tube. How sweet is that?

This 15" tube is much lighter than the 12" JP tube it replaced. The rifle feels much more balanced and now I won't be able to burn my fingers on the barrel like I have done in my last two matches. The best part it took less than 5 minutes to swap out the tubes.

Those came out less than 30 days after I troubled KurtM to help me uninstall my VTAC and install my PRI. I was pissed! What an easy fix and great idea to make it interchangeable with the very common JP/VTAC nut.

Ever heard of a company called HiperForm? I contacted them about a 15" carbon-fiber tube. The guy said that he had never done one that long before, but offered to make me one. They offered to make whatever size I wanted and the price was very good. It'll be in by the end of next week and I'll post some pics. I know it has a funky looking barrel nut and the tube is permanently attached to the nut, so it should be interesting to try out.

finally got the Palmetto lower from the group buy assembled.... had to wait 90 days on a freaking stamp to get returned...

now im waiting on the upper parts ....

Aren't you subscribed? ha

I'll bring it out next rifle match and we can play with it. PRI CQB comp is ATAS. Actually everything about it is ATAS.
