Yeah yeah, I copied off of a lot of people's rifles and it's a crappy photo..... but I shaved off about 4 pounds going to this handgaurd and from a 30 round mag to a 20. It's my official coyote AR now. Eventually it will have a Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10-44 on it.

I don't understand, the steakinator weighs 8.5lbs loaded with a 30rd mag, I would think with the lighter barrel, no forward assist, and 20rd mag it would have been lighter. Maybe my scales are just broken and My rifle is heavier than it reads.

I kinda want to get one of those plum crazy carbon fiber lowers, a pencil barrel, and a carbon fiber foregrip on one and just keep going to see how light I could make one.

Mine has a fluted heavy bbl. It has forward assist and the mag is empty. And the Vtor stocks are heavier than the MOE and CTR's

Chambers built this upper with a 16" Nordic barrel, Clark carbon fiber handgaurd, adjustable gas system, JP low mass BCG, and a plain DPMS reciever. I put it on a RRA lower with a Magpul CTR stock. This is the lightest rifle that I've ever owned or handled. It shoots more accurately than I do with no recoil.
