Finally got the AR how I want it! 18" Wilson Combat 5.56 barrel with 1:8 twist and rifle length gas system, midwest industries free float handguard, and SJC Titan compensator, So excited. It shoots like a dream. Plus there is something about making something exactly how you want it with your own hands. Love it.

Thanks. All I need now is either red dot or optic. Still can't decide which would best suit my needs for 3 gun and not break the bank.

Rifle looks great. Check out the Primary arms 1-4 or a Burris M-Tac for awesome affordable optics.

Personally, at least at my level, with a 1-4 optic, you get a dot and a scope all in one. I was lucky to find an MTAC for same price as Tac 30, but I don't think there is 100 bones worth of difference. Now, let's see the shotgun!

Look at the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 great scope. Love it!

yea i tuned the gas block thats it. Will run it this weekend to get the eye relief i like. I try to run nose to charging handle just to keep consistant cheek weld

What's up with the blue plug on the STR?

I've had no luck finding a color (poly dye) that will stick to the rubber they use so am really curious what it is.
