......and........back on topic..............
All kidding aside, you're more than welcome to come out & shoot a match with us any time.
You already know we'll give as much or a little help as you want.
Nice to see you're a good sport.

I appreciate everyone on this forum that has taken time out of their daily lives to answer my questions with solid information and condescension-free feedback - both in public or private.

I was reading a post on another site's forum and a guy was asking about a particular AR. Being his first foray into carbine ownership, he looked at what was in his price range and picked those he could afford. It only took three responses before the conversation degenerated into brand fanboy one-up-man-ship and name calling. Honestly, for someone new to shooting in general and shooting sports in particular, you folks provide a very nice place to have my somewhat noob-esque questions answered. I appreciate it and I appreciate you. So, thank you everyone.

My first thanks goes to Jesse Tishauser he loaned me a Benelli for my first match, he just handed it to me like it was a Louis L'amour book, here you are just get it back to me after the match. The group buy with the mm caddies sure helped my pocket book, I have rode to maybe 7 matches with him. He has been very helpful with shooting tips. Thanks JT
Next thanks goes to Rusty Harris he has been the driver more many carpools and if a last minute seat opens up he lets me know. Thanks also for answering gun and reloading questions.

Next two guys are Swift (Austin T) and GT thanks for answering all the reloading questions I am sure you had better things to do than answer PM's, text and phone calls.

Kurt Miller, I have only spoken to u a handful of times but thanks for your post and input you have definitely impacted many of my purchases ie keep it simple.

Then there are those guys Kirk, Feegee, Jason G, & Donavon its been fun

I think I would like to acknowledge, Col. Jeff Copper, the father of IPSC/USPSA, and Col. Bob Brown 5th group Special Forces and owner of Soldier of Fortune Magazine. Jeff brought us action shooting and Bob brouhgt us 3-gun as we know it today. I was privileged to work for and with both these great individuals. Bob ran the S.O.F. World Championship 3-Gun for 23 years, and at its "retirement" it was changed to Rocky Mountain 3-Gun...so it lives on!

I would like to thank Both of the Mikes, Weidalich and Horn for finally talking me into shooting the S.O.F. 3-Gun and getting me hooked on 3-Gun!! They taught me how to run a match efficiently, fairly, and firmly, good target presentation, scoring, etc.

I would like to give special thanks to John Paul Gangle, and Benny Hill, who took me under their wing and helped me out with good gear! John and Benny both started sponsoring me in 1999, I am the longest continuosly sponsored person for J.P. THANKS GUYS!!!

I want to mention My two shooting partners Trapr Swanson and Mike Pinto. Between the 3 of us we have had a huge impact on the 3-gun world, anything from barrel profiles to whole division changes, that have been picked up Nation wide. It has bee a great honor and an amazing amount of liver damage.

Special thanks goes to Gurnney Munn (the only guy I knew, untill, Jesse that could throw cubic dollars at a problem and actually make it work!) and Eddie Rhodes. Both taught me how to be a "gammer", not just a "Tactical Ted".

Honorable mention is all you guys who have made me smile, and have reminded me of all the excitement the "new guy" can have. Special mention here is Jesse with whom I have had some of the funnest conversations in my garage with, but now that he is famous he doesn't have time for the "common folks", and Taymore....yeah I know I always spell it wrong....get that shotgun to me next month OK?

Best quote is from Jesse " I don't know if my liver can take this 3-gun game"!

Oh wow I could never even start to mention all the folks that have helped me and most of ya'll wouldn't have a clue who they were.

Pretty sure I owe most of my thanks to folks you'd know would have to be our Mr. Kurt Miller, I didn't know this cat from Adam but we took what some would call a turd shotgun (CZ712) and played until we had a viable platform. He has put up with numerous questions and is just in a nutshell a damn positive awesome person!

Who couldn't thank our Tony Wall, this dude always sems like nothing could ever get him down, he bends over backwards to get us stuff thru his shop "Make Ready Pro Shop" and is always good for a laugh or two.

Gotta thank the Semi-Pro's for givin' me elephant dung every chance they can as it lightens up things and keeps it fun.

Gotta say thanks to Feegee, Matt, Corey for keeping me laughing and someone who can take me givin' ya elephant dung from time to time and saying thanks for the help I've given ya that has actually worked! we'll not talk about the help that didn't work out all that well LOL

I'm sure I've left out some folks as there are many of you that just make this whole shooting lifestyle fun. Later,

Kirk

I want to appreciate several people.

Last OKC 3 gun match, Matt and Feegee welcomed me for my first 3 gun match and let me use their caddies. I'm sure they would have rather kept their caddies on their belts instead of taking them off and putting them back on after every stage, but they did so that they could share their caddies with me.

I want to thank Rusty. I think he's been at every match I've been to (except for an IDPA match...). I've made it a point to squad with him because he's been welcoming and helped me in any way he can. At a recent Ponca match I had helped score and realized towards the end (first time scoring) that I didn't include the steels in the points. I was embarassed and told him I messed up and instead of acting like I was an idiot he helped me collect the score sheets to fix them.

Will was a real help at the last OKC 3 gun match. I appreciate people like Will that help others at matches.

Then there's the general BS people. I'm still relatively new and all of you have made me feel welcome when shooting matches.
