Anybody into knives?

Depends on the steel. Usually I start with either a ceramic 40-60grit. The Zirconia belts work well too, but don't last as long. I'll get a thread going to show the whole process. I've got the shop shaping up and with the support of the board will get grind in event going.

Thoughts will be for a whole day at 4-6 people max, but everyone will take a chunk of steel to a finished knife.
 
Not a huge knife fan but always loved them. Obviously a Benchmade fan. Here are a few from my Military days with the exception of the large one which I have had since I was a young teen. I do however love my not so cheap Williams-Sonoma kitchen knife. :D I also have a Paul "bear" Bryant knife at my moms in storage that I got when I was like 10. -shane
