I used to do most my loading in the winter, rifle & pistol. Now, when hot & humid or raining , I sometimes load in summer, I often will load cases year round.
Sometimes I just prep rifle brass: clean, resize & knock out old primers, measure length , sort those needing trimming, then trim them.
Next , prime all cases & sort by headstamp. Store in plastic bags ( by brands) & mark bags " ready to load"
When I want to load those cases, it's really quick, measure powder charge & seat bullets.. done.
I do lot of "experimental" loads, using new bullets , powders, etc. latest experiments have been loading composite bullets, in .380, 9mm, 38, & 45 acp.
Bullets are made of copper particles in a polymer matrix.. very light weight, so starting powder charges have greater velocity than lead or Jkt'd bullets @ max powder loads. Lighter bullets = less recoil & muzzle jump = greater accuracy. Composite bullets also leave no residue in the bore.
